The Spirits blessed Korra and Bolin with a beautiful baby boy that Korra named Hotohori, after one of the stars in Suzaku's constellation. Many people, whether from nobility or not, came to the Southern Water Tribe to celebrate.
Standing outside of the Southern Water Tribe Royal Palace was none other than Varrick with a microphone in hand, and his assistant, Zhu Li.
"Zhu Li," Varrick started, "Do the thing with the confetti and fireworks!"
"Right away, sir!" replied Zhu Li.

Korra and Bolin revisited Katara for the older waterbending master to give the former another check-up.
Two more months remained in the young Avatar's pregnancy. Korra was excited but, at the same time, nervous. Hell, a lot of emotions ran through Korra's mind. Even so, Master Katara would always ease her worries.
"Your baby's heartbeat is strong, just like yours," Katara noted, "And you're at the appropriate weight in your third trimester."
"That's good to know," Korra spoke, "I've been eati

Korra entered her and Bolin's room and plopped her side onto the bed, heaving an exhausted sigh.
"What a day," she uttered as she rolled over onto her back.
The little one inside her womb moved around a little, agreeing with Korra. Korra smiled as she rubbed her belly tenderly, then sighed as she looked at the ceiling.
"Three more months," Korra noted, "Just three more months, and then you'll be here with us, little one …."
The unborn baby gave a light kick as if to say: "I can't wai

Bolin never could metalbend.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't do it, even with his brother's encouragement. Ultimately, Bolin gave up on ever becoming a metalbender.
That was why he switched to the next best thing: Lavabending.
"Lavabending?!" Mako asked in disbelief.
"Shhh!!!" Bolin shushed his brother and clasped a hand over his mouth. "Keep your voice down!!!"
Outside, Korra, who was five months into her pregnancy and donning a braided mohawk ponytail, Haku, and Naga, built snow people.
"And yes, I'm g

Tonight was a special night.
It was the night of Korra's baby shower. Everyone in the Southern Water Tribe Royal Palace prepped for the main event. For starters, they decorated the courtroom for the big party by setting up the chandelier on the ceiling, putting up the dining tables, and hanging many lanterns. It was quite beautiful.
Senna was with the Guest of Honor, Korra, in hers and Bolin's room. After Korra got dressed, Senna sat her in front of her vanity mirror so th

Korra sat in front of the Vanity Mirror in hers and Bolin's room, brushing her hair. As she did, she noticed just how long her hair was. It was down to her back, right at the base of her butt.
"Wow," she muttered, "I knew my hair was long, but not THAT long."
"Korra?" Senna's voice called from outside the room.
"In here, Mom!" Korra replied.
Senna opened the door, allowing herself to enter.
"Hi, hon," greeted Senna, "How are you doing?"
"Been better," Korra answered, "Been worse, to

Dawn had barely begun rising over Harbor City.
In the Southern Water Tribe Royal Palace, everyone slept in their rooms. Well, except a certain eight-year-old boy who crept out of his bedroom, wearing a coat, a pair of pants, mittens, and boots.
Haku tiptoed past Korra and Bolin's room, both of them snoring, and unaware of their escaping adoptive son. Though, Naga, who slept on the floor, awoke the moment she heard Haku's footsteps.
Haku soon made it to the f
